Sabina is a 14-year veteran of Reuters, specialising in the global energy sector after postings abroad covering general and macroeconomic news in Warsaw, Brussels, Kiev, New York and Copenhagen. Her experiences range from assignments covering the 2014 war in Ukraine, EU antitrust reporting to scrutiny of the giant U.S. oil market and the global LNG industry.
She also served as a communications manager at Maersk Oil, at the time a top 25 global oil company, where she ran proactive media relations, created and edited a company magazine and handled crisis and M&A communications.
Her energetic approach led her to learn how to escape a sinking helicopter, roll with the North Sea aboard an FPSO, stroll the Kazakh steppe alongside nodding donkeys and witness mile-long trains carrying North Dakotan shale oil. Along the way, she acquired a passion and deep respect for the colossal industries that power the world and the people working for them.
Sabina applies her reporting flair to find stories within companies that evidence key messages credibly. She is passionate about uncovering valuable knowledge – stripping away jargon, rumour, misconceptions – and presenting it in a clear insightful way.
Today, her sleuthing tendencies are used to support management due diligence and helping our clients engage and manage media in the energy and maritime sectors.
“Through the way we engage on commercial and industry insights in maritime, energy, shipping, manufacturing and aerospace, we have proved that compelling content-led PR can be an extremely effective tool for raising the profile of a company, and gaining traction for ideas and initiatives as a mainstream concern.”
